Electrical routing experiments
The experimental engine of my thesis: an IRLS solver, a multicommodity extension, exhaustive graph enumeration and an LP baseline, run on a university cluster.
15 projects, from research code and shipped work to ideas still on the bench.

Grades 100+ student implementations of a 2D heat-equation solver using MPI one-sided communication and hybrid MPI+OpenMP. It compiles, validates process meshes, benchmarks on the cluster, checks reported against measured speedup within a 7.5% tolerance, and writes a six-sheet Excel report.
My BSc thesis. Simulates Lorenz attractor trajectories to search for inputs that produce specific chaotic behaviour, with tooling to visualise the results.
An edge-first IoT design that predicts frost before it arrives and triggers sprinklers within their lead time. Training and inference stay at the edge; the cloud keeps only backups, a device registry and a dashboard. I chose single-writer ownership with idempotent retries over Raft consensus.
A storage service built on a binary search tree, written in C++ and deployed on Kubernetes both locally and on Google Kubernetes Engine.
A streaming service that consumes plant-image data from Kafka, processes it and stores the results, deployed on GKE.
A Raspberry Pi 5 running my own web stack, including this site: nginx serving two websites, PostgreSQL, a Cloudflare Tunnel behind Zero Trust, and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Node Exporter and cAdvisor.
Four tool servers on the Pi (filesystem, BibTeX library, GitHub, algorithms) that give AI assistants access to my research setup, secured with Cloudflare Access service tokens.
A C++ library of parallel, distributed, graph, flow and online algorithms, each written by hand with tests and visualisations. I started it to keep real ownership of my code in an AI-heavy workflow. Done: parallel prefix sums (Hillis-Steele). Next: parallel merge sort.
Open-source articles from 2021 explaining Lee’s algorithm (BFS shortest paths on a grid) and flood fill, from intuition to working code.
A custom WordPress theme for a US wellness company, built with co-developer Andrei Pop. It ships with a full design system (palette, type pairing, 8px grid, WCAG 2.2 AA guidance) and editable fields so the owner runs the site without touching code.
A cross-platform learning platform for vocational training, planned under the software company I am co-founding in Romania. Courses, quizzes and an in-browser code runner, all usable offline with sync.
A wireless button that drives a small motor to unlatch, open, close and relatch the high transom windows in my apartment. My first hardware project.
Exploring what it takes to write a small game engine from scratch.
A second Raspberry Pi 5, bought for electronics experiments, with a robot as the long-term goal.
